Agency/Service Pre-Transition Requirements (MOU/ISA)

Thank you to all agencies/services for the continued engagement with the Converge team as the TSP transitions to a new record keeper.

This bulletin is part of an Agency/Service Pre-Transition Requirement series that will share additional details surrounding pre-transition activities and events as they become available. This bulletin series will reinforce critical actions required to send data to the new location at the time of cutover to the new record keeper, as well as share new information regarding transition activities. Failure to complete these preparatory requirements will impact an agency’s or service’s ability to make contributions to the TSP. For additional context, here is a timeline outlining these activities for your reference.1

By publication of this bulletin, all agencies or services should have submitted a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Additionally, agencies or services with a secure, direct connection to the TSP recordkeeping system are required to sign and submit their Interconnection Security Agreement (ISA) by January 31st, 2022. If your agency or service has not submitted their MOU and/or has concerns with meeting this ISA deadline, immediate action is required. Please contact your Converge representative as soon as possible to discuss remediation efforts.

Please note, since the March 15, 2021 bulletin 21-1, the Converge team has been working with each agency/service individually. Any agency or service-specific timelines associated with the actions outlined above provided during these outreach efforts remain valid.

Future bulletins in this series will address details pertaining to testing and training activities, as well as transition-related actions you may need to complete. For example, in mid-2022, certain legacy processes and systems will begin to turn off as new processes and systems are turned on. Additionally, there will be a brief blackout period during the transition that may impact your agency or service and employees. More details will be shared in a future bulletin.

We look forward to continuing to support you throughout the transition.
