Account Access

Introduction

Your browser settings do not have JavaScript enabled. Most of the Account Access pages were developed for use with the JavaScript browser option enabled. See our FAQ, Managing Your Browser Settings for assistance.

The Account Access section of this Web site allows you to access your account balance and request certain transactions. To access your account, you will need your TSP account number and 8-character Web password.

The account balance information is current as of close of business, Thursday, July 02, 2009 .

The Thrift Savings Plan will be closed on Friday, July 3rd, in observance of Independence Day. Transactions that would have been processed Friday night (July 3rd) will be processed Monday night (July 6th), at Monday's closing share prices.

How to make a Contribution Election

To access your account information, your browser must support Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) version 3.0 or higher and 128-bit encryption, and must have Javascript enabled. In addition, your computer's assigned Internet Protocol (IP) address, which is controlled by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), must remain the same from the time you enter your account number and Web password on the Login Page until you leave the Account Access section. Consent to electronic transmission of information: Use of the Internet to access your TSP account involves the electronic transmission of personal financial information. When you use Account Access, you are consenting to electronic transmission of the information you have requested. Your consent is effective during the entire time you are accessing your TSP account through the Web site.
